National Electoral Institute
The Electoral Assistant Trainer is responsible for collecting data and training citizens selected to serve as active participants in the electoral process.
To improve efficiency and oversight, the entire recruitment and data collection process was migrated to a digital platform. This transition enabled real-time data analysis and streamlined the work of field agents across their assignments.
The main challenge was translating a traditionally manual process into a fully digital experience that would be intuitive and accessible for electoral field trainers with varying levels of technical proficiency.
I was responsible for the interface design, user experience, and overall visual development of the platform. This included the creation of high-fidelity prototypes, which were later presented to officials at national congresses as part of the project’s validation process.
Since its initial implementation in 2017, the core of this project has been used in multiple gubernatorial elections throughout Mexico, as well as in a nationwide presidential election.
