Lettering

Since learning calligraphy around 2016, I’ve been drawn to lettering — a practice I’ve continued as a hobby in my free time. It has not only helped me refine my approach to letterform design, including logos, but also allowed me to explore adjacent disciplines like illustration, even if I don’t consider myself an expert in that field.

Over the years, I’ve taken part in exercises such as 36 Days of Type, where I created a letter each day inspired by the work of different artists. One of my lettering pieces was also featured in Typism 5 — an Australian-published book compiling some of the best lettering work from around the world — with my tattoo design in 2019.
